This is where the festivities really begin, under the luminous dance of the Christmas tree lights: as per tradition, on December 7 the big tree located in Piazza del Duomo, just a few meters from Relais Hotel centrale, will be lit, an unmissable event in the heart of Florence for young and old alike.

Florence lights up the sky above the Arno River: from December 7 to January 6, 2025, the city’s monuments and squares will be lit with special illuminations to artistically highlight details, glimpses, and overall views.

Michelangelo and Power
The exhibition Michelangelo and Power takes place on the second floor of the Palazzo Vecchio, between the Sala delle Udienze and the Sala dei Gigli, through an itinerary of more than fifty works on view until January 26, 2025: sculptures, paintings, drawings, autograph letters and plaster casts, chosen to illustrate Michelangelo’s relationship with power, his political vision and his determination to place himself on an equal footing with the powerful of the earth.

Satura, is the first solo exhibition dedicated to the work of U.S. artist Louis Fratino, on view through Feb. 2, 2025: a series of sculptures, more than 30 paintings and more than 20 graphic works including drawings and lithographs that give the opportunity to delve into the artist’s research through works from the last decade and others of new production.
